Research interests: economics of education, labor economics, agriculture, rural development

Naveen is the Director of the MBA program at BGS College of Engineering & Technology, Bangalore. He is an applied microeconomist with research interests in the economics of education, labor economics, agriculture, and rural development.

Previously, Naveen spent a year at the Jameel Poverty Action Lab South Asia and two years at the University of California San Diego as a postdoctoral scholar. Naveen obtained a PhD in Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2020 and a Master’s in Management from the London School of Economics in 2015. He graduated from Visvesvaraya Technological University with a degree in Engineering in 2012.
